Miami is one of the country’s leading destinations in the nightlife industry.
Entering the highly competitive scene may be tough, with iconic destinations like LIV holding reign throughout the 305. However, in the always-happening city, we have a good bunch to choose from, each a bit different than the other offering something for everyone. As a rare city that offers something to do literally every night of the week, these destinations can all be frequented on particular days of the week to see them at their finest.
Here’s a look at the most haunted nightclubs in Miami:
LIV is and will always be Miami’s #1 nightlife destination, consistently pulling in the year’s highest earnings for Miami nightclubs, as well as the biggest names holding court at the spot’s coveted VIP tables. Walking down the steps of the iconic club is truly a memorable experience, as you’re awestruck by the beautiful crowd, blasting beats, flashing lights and confetti raining from the ceiling. The club’s stage has been graced by some of the greatest names in the music biz since its inception in 2008. “LIV on Sunday” has become a favorite of the hip-hop industry’s biggest names, bringing in DJ Khaled, Future, Lil Wayne and more, as well as a go-to among celebs like the Kardashians.
The downtown Miami, 24/7 burlesque club quickly became a crowd-favorite upon its debut in 2011. The spot is easily one of the most desired clubs to get into among locals and tourists alike, famous for its sprawling dance floor captivated by the burlesque show taking place each night. It’s become a famous after-party stop, and will most likely keep you there until the wee hours of the morning without even realizing it. Chances are you’ll see some big names there, as well–just in the past few months, the spot has been frequented by Drake, Nikki Minaj, the Kardashians, Big Sean, Ludacris and more.
The famed W South Beach nightclub from KNR Hospitality Group is one of the longest-standing nightlife spots in the city. The intimate lounge continues to bring in an A-list crowd with a tough door to pass through. One of the spot’s biggest nights is uniquely Tuesday, hosting its famous “Favela Beach” party, ushering in models and Miami socialites to dance the night away. The club has been frequented by celebrity favorites including Paris Hilton, Nervo, Mr. Brainwash and more.
Located in the heart of Mid-Beach on Collins Avenue, Mynt is one of Miami’s renowned nightlife destinations, drawing in an upscale and beautiful foreign crowd. The lounge space is illuminated by LED screens, flashing lights and flaming bottles, which keep the party going throughout the night. The high rollers can be found here partying it up on Fridays and Saturdays, dropping tons of cash on the VIP tables and sipping Dom Perignon.
ORA is Miami’s newest name to the exclusive nightlife scene, located on Collins Avenue right next to new spot, DÔA. The beautiful club features two levels, as well as an exclusive upper-lounge called “The Anti-Social Club” where guests who don’t feel the urge to be in the heavy nightlife mix can enjoy a cocktail with a second set of beats. While competitors have had a tough time entering the Miami nightlife scene in the past, particularly at this location, ORA has already proven to be a big player amongst the longtime staples in the city, drawing in a beautiful crowd on Fridays and Saturdays with celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Cee Lo Green and more in attendance.
