We live in a turbulent decade when everything is changing. People’s lives are becoming faster and faster, while we are being so flooded with tons of content from numerous media, that no one can keep track anymore. No one can keep track of what is currently “in” and what is “out,” what is funny and what is not, and no one can predict which product will sell and which product will fail miserably into oblivion.

It is the same with the nightclub industry.

Bars, restaurants and nightclubs are now pivoting in so many directions, trying to stand out from the crowd and lure in the customers who are slowly but surely becoming so desensitized to pretty much everything, and pretty soon nothing will be interesting or exciting to them. Consumerism tends to do that, yeah.

But some bars and nightclubs across the globe still manage to keep up with the newest bar industry trends and stay on top of the game, even though it is 2018 and that may seem like mission impossible.

There have been many new bar industry trends popping up lately, and although some of them have been short-lived, some have proven to be extremely fruitful.

We at LitApp are always trying to provide our users with the latest news from the exciting world of events and nightlife in general, which is why we did a little research to discover which nightclub industry trends will be the hottest in 2018.

Here’s what we found out.

Tequila And Bourbon Are Becoming More And More Popular

Don’t forget to stock up on some good bourbon and quality tequila this season as these two drinks have seen a huge peak in their popularity nightclub trendsover the last couple of years. Whiskey in general, but specifically bourbon, is coming back and Tom Waits must be very proud.

Tequila is also reaching its old glory, so if you plan on following the newest nightclub industry trends, make sure you always have enough salt and lots of lemons.

Going Out is All About Experience

People don’t want to go out and then just sit on a sofa and drink alcohol. They can do that at home. If you own a nightclub, make sure you give your customers some quality content, and A LOT of it. Most party animals seek adventure and eventful night outs in which dancing, drinking and flirting are simply not enough.

You need to provide them with a unique experience that they will talk about for weeks and months, not just the morning after. Traditional nightlife is dead. People seek unique and exciting concepts, and it is up to you to give them one. Or, even better, dozens of them.

Younger demographics find multifaceted venues extremely appealing as they give them the opportunity to have several different night-out experiences in a single venue.

Late Night Snacks Are Coming Back

This one’s easy – simply incorporate some unhealthy foods into your bar and don’t stop making those snacks once the clock hits 10pm. Currently one of the hottest bar industry trends for 2018 is being able to eat some late night snacks. The unhealthier the better!
